A lonely woman, whose husband dies in an air crush, digs a man from the earth and sleeps with him so that she gets the strength to move on.

This story, set in Tsai's home country of Malaysia, is indeed oddly touching, an exploration of loneliness, the need for human contact, jealousy and survival.
